To my Krav Maga Girls

In response to this brilliant Ju-Jitsu article, I wrote one for Krav Maga.

Don’t date a female Krav Maga practitioner if you aren’t prepared for a strong woman. She is used to being the underdog, and her practice is about making sure her agility, speed, accuracy, and intelligence make her a force to be reckoned with, under the darkest times.

Don’t date her if you can’t treat her the way she deserves. She has a fierce pack of fellow Kravits who will stand by her side, and won’t let her stand alone in the face of adversity.

Don’t date her if you can’t handle excellence. She is someone who challenges herself and holds herself to the highest standards. Step up your game, or step out.

Don’t date her if you want to control her. Control positions for her usually mean escape plans that strike to weak points, and you are a target board of them.

Don’t date her if you want a quiet and meek person. She uses her voice and she expects to be heard.

Date her, because you want someone strong and courageous.

Date her, because she knows her own worth and that makes her amazing.

Date her, because she is fierce and ready to survive when the going gets tough.

Date her because she is compassionate and resilient and respectful.

Date her, because she is independent and aware.

Date her, because she’s excellent.

Date her, because you want the best.
